All We Are is a nonprofit organization bringing sustainable energy solutions to communities in Uganda. We dream of a world where everybody has access to affordable energy through community-focused, renewable solutions.
How we do it
Local Connection
Our Ugandan partners help us vet locations for our solar projects, and our team of local electricians install and maintain the systems.
Volunteer Members
Our dedicated global volunteer team works in remote distributed teams alongside our employees and partners in Uganda on all of our projects.

Nathan Thomas
Founder, CEO

Nathan graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and now works as an Engineering Team Lead for Leoni Wiring Systems. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Raleigh Midtown, and will serve as the District Governor for District 7710 for the 2022/2023 Rotary Year. Nathan also serves as a Coordinating Ambassador for One Young World.

Our projects are led by a paid team of Ugandan employees who carry out all solar installations and maintain operations on the ground. We work alongside local partners and vendors to create long-term impact in communities in Uganda.
